Ambac’s core business is a specialty property and casualty insurance platform with two operating divisions—Everspan and Cirrata. Everspan is a specialty program insurer that focuses on diverse classes of commercial and personal liability risks, and Cirrata is an insurance distribution platform consisting of a diverse portfolio of MGA/MGUs. Ambac is headquartered in New York City and listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: AMBC).
